The legislation now heads to the House for a full hearing in committee. The revenue from the license plate will go to the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights to expand and sustain educational programs at the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights memorial.

“This license plate helps to fund educational programs including docent tours, maintenance, and any expansion of the Anne Frank Memorial.” Senator Cherie Buckner-Webb/ (D-Boise) explained. “Educating each other on the human rights issues that affect our communities, our state, the country, and the world is essential to furthering our understanding of the past and creating a more equitable future for all. Men and women, from the early days, have found opportunities in Idaho. Individuals, families, and groups have been and continue to be drawn to Idaho for many reasons. The Too Great for Hate license plate stands as a testament to the Idaho we love, serve, and have chosen for our homes. ”

“The Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial is one of Idaho’s treasures, the memorial is the only Anne Frank memorial in the United States and one of the very few places in the world where the entire Universal Declaration of Human Rights is on display. This license plate will serve as an important reminder that Idaho is Too Great for Hate. This license plate is more than a slogan – it is symbolic, inspirational, aspirational, and it is a representation of my Idaho. The license is a reminder of who we are and how we will walk in the world. Idahoans can trust that they will be investing in a valuable resource for the state.”
